Back for the final leg of its ninth season, Friday Night Sound Waves: Backstage Pass brings a lineup of high-energy tribute concerts to Las Olas Oceanside Park. Presented by the City of Fort Lauderdale Beach Business Improvement District, the free concert series takes place every Friday from Oct. 24 through Dec. 19, 2025, from 7 to 9:30 p.m., and features performances by nationally touring tribute bands celebrating some of the most iconic artists in music history.

Kicking off the final Backstage Pass series of our ninth season, Life in Technicolor brings the unmistakable sound and emotion of Coldplay to life on the beach. Based in South Florida and led by world-renowned drummer John Favicchia, this elite group of musicians delivers an immersive tribute that captures the spirit of Coldplay’s live performances with stunning authenticity.
From the soaring melodies of “Fix You” to the crowd-rising energy of “Viva La Vida,” this show takes fans on a technicolor journey through Coldplay’s greatest hits, including “Yellow,” “The Scientist,” “Clocks,” and “Adventure of a Lifetime.” Frontman Brett Miller’s captivating vocals, paired with Jeff Ralston’s guitar virtuosity, Linda Cusumano’s lush keys, and the driving rhythm section of Ed Groblewski and Favicchia, make this a powerful and unforgettable concert experience.
