Back for the final leg of its ninth season, Friday Night Sound Waves: Backstage Pass brings a lineup of high-energy tribute concerts to Las Olas Oceanside Park. Presented by the City of Fort Lauderdale Beach Business Improvement District, the free concert series takes place every Friday from Oct. 24 through Dec. 19, 2025, from 7 to 9:30 p.m., and features performances by nationally touring tribute bands celebrating some of the most iconic artists in music history.

Heart of Glass delivers a sensational tribute to Blondie, capturing the essence of the pioneering band that revolutionized new wave and punk in the late ’70s and dominated the charts in the ’80s. Fronted by Monica Edwards, who channels Debbie Harry’s look, voice, and vibrant energy, this talented Orlando-based band takes audiences on a journey through Blondie’s greatest hits, including “Heart of Glass,” “Call Me,” “One Way or Another,” “Rapture,” and more. It’s a celebration of Blondie’s groundbreaking sound and their timeless influence on rock and pop music.
Then, step into the 90s and 00s with Subliminal Doubt, an exciting tribute to No Doubt and Gwen Stefani. Featuring Monica as Gwen Stefani, this performance is a dynamic mix of nostalgia and pure fun, endorsed by Gwen herself! Backed by some of Orlando’s finest musicians, Subliminal Doubt recreates the energy and spirit of hits like “Just a Girl,” “Spiderwebs,” “Don’t Speak,” and “Hella Good,” along with Gwen’s solo anthems like “Hollaback Girl” and “The Sweet Escape.”
