This Thanksgiving make a lasting impression, one that benefits you and our community.
Fort Lauderdale Turkey Trot has become a Broward County tradition, attracting more than 3,300 participants annually, including runners, joggers, walkers, friends, coworkers, and family.

Featuring a 5k run/walk race, the course runs along beautiful and scenic A1A, Fort Lauderdale’s iconic beach road.
Enjoy the ocean breeze and the majestic colors of a South Florida sunrise as you run, walk, or jog the course.
This event is perfect for novice to elite participants.
Thanksgiving-themed costumes are welcomed and encouraged!

  • Awards Presentation     8:45 AM

AWARDS

Commemorative finisher medals are guaranteed for the first 3,300 finishers.

  • Awards to top three overall male and female 5K finishers.
  • Medals to first, second, and third place age group winners.

Conceived in 2011, the Memorial Cardiac & Vascular Institute Fort Lauderdale Turkey Trot has grown from humble beginnings of a few hundred to thousands of walkers, joggers, and runners all gathered along A1A on Thanksgiving morning. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a first-timer, experienced, or seasoned; the 5k run is the perfect prelude to your holiday meal. The race is a wonderful way to prepare for the eating that is to come, but your contribution also helps support two outstanding local organizations.
