Celebrated jazz guitarist Greg Diamond is renowned for his soulful and innovative approach to music. Hailing from New York City, his mixed Jewish and Latin American heritage infuses his compositions with a diverse range of pan-Latin American styles, particularly influenced by Colombia, his mother’s homeland.
With six albums to his name, including the trio project “Beata,” Diamond’s music reflects his deep connection to his Latin roots, incorporating vibrant rhythms and colorful textures. His compositions have earned him critical acclaim, establishing him as a luminary in the jazz guitar world, and praise from Latin Jazz Network as a “composer of great maturity and genius.” Bill Milkowski of Downbeat magazine also hailed him as a “promising talent on the New York jazz scene.” With an unwavering commitment to his craft and an intuitive sense of storytelling through music, Greg Diamond continues to push the boundaries of jazz guitar, leaving a lasting impact on the contemporary jazz scene.
